11.12.07 | Finishing "Souvenir" in Portland, ME
For the last three weeks I've been having an absolute blast in Portland, Maine (surely one of America's best cities---I really love it here), doing "Souvenir" at Good Theater with Liz McCartney. The only downside to this gig is that Liz is so freakin funny it can be literally painful trying a) not to laugh on stage, and b) not to cough up a lung off stage. Audience reaction has been genuinely rapturous. Brian and Steve, who run the theater, have done a wonderful job putting everything together, and they seem to have an enthusiasticallly loyal subscriber base. All in all, one of those jobs that renew your love of performing. I'm feeling very grateful. Just in time for Thankksgiving. We close next Sunday, Nov 18.

07.06.07 | Grey Gardens to close July 29
The producers gave us the sad news last Friday---and as soon as it hit the press, our ticket sales went through the roof! We've been playing to sold-out houses ever since. So get your tickets NOW if you haven't yet seen this terrific show, or if you want to make a return visit.

07.06.07 | Zipper Factory show
Last week's concert at the Zipper Factory was a great success---thanks to all who came out for it! The band clicked so beautifully, I can't wait to book the next gig. Of course I'll keep you posted...

05.31.07 | Lineup for June 25th
I'm really excited about the band for the Zipper Factory concert. My brilliant guitarist and cellist (Eric Nicolas and Dave Eggar, respectively, or disrespectively, if you're so inclined) will be there, and drummer Marty Beller and bassist will be joining me for the first time.

Ticket info once again: $20 (plus the really annoying on-line surcharge---sorry, nothing I can do about it!), available at www.zippertheater.com or 212-352-3101. The Zipper Factory is at 336 West 37th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues.
