10.05.10"33 Variations" ends its run

Another gorgeous old venue: the Colonial Theater in Pittsfield, MA. This time out we added Casey Kelly on guitar and bass (one at a time, though, one at a time....), and he just nailed it! Leslie Ellis, Jo Williamson and Connie James were brilliant as usual. And I only came close to knocking the dulcimer off my lap about fifteen times. That's an improvement.

01.08.10Best Concert Ever
I'm pretty much at a loss to describe how joyous an experience our Dylan show, "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," was. And I certainly can't find the words to express how glorious, how radiant, how just plain badass talented Lisa Fisher is. She blessed us all by being part of this, as did Tony Conniff, Clint De Ganon, and Larry Saltzman. The best possible band. I need more of this, soon!
Sad to think that the Kravis Center is leasing the Rinker out to a theater company and that it won't be available next year. It's been a wonderful incubator. Thanks to all the staff there for getting the sound right again and again!
